The prices of numerous electric cars have been slashed as manufacturers await details of government grant eligibility.
In July, the UK Government has announced details of a new Electric Car Grant (ECG) that can shave up to £3750 off the price of a new electric vehicle (EV), but the details, including a full list of which cars will be affected, have yet to be announced. That's led to a sudden slow down in EV sales as consumers hesitate over potential future discounts.
To combat this, several car manufacturers have announced their own discount or grant schemes, cutting the prices of their EVs by thousands of pounds.
Among those announcing cost cuts is Suzuki, which have revealed a Suzuki Granted scheme that cuts prices by £3750 on the new e Vitara SUV.

The offer runs until 31 December and also throws in a free Ohme home charger.
